Reliable for matcha

Another order from Chideno, and it was just as expected. I got the Ceremonial Grade Matcha Powder again. It arrived in about a week, same as my last few orders. Always consistent quality, which is why I keep coming back. I wish shipping was a touch faster sometimes, but it's not a huge deal.

Good coffee, decent service

I bought a bag of their Espresso Roast whole beans and a Manual Coffee Grinder. The coffee itself was excellent, very fresh, and had a rich flavor. The grinder is sturdy and does the job well for the price. Delivery was fairly quick, arrived in 6 days. My only real complaint is that the product descriptions could be a bit more detailed, especially for the coffee bean origins. Overall, a good experience and solid value.

Mostly happy with my order

I bought a Coffee Sampler Pack and a set of Tea Storage Tins. The sampler was a great way to try different roasts, and I found a new favorite in their Medium Roast. Shipping was free, which was a definite plus, and it arrived in 6 days. The tins are functional, but one of them had a very minor scuff on the side, barely noticeable. Customer service was fine when I had a question about bean freshness before buying. Good value for what I paid, but a bit more attention to packaging details would make it perfect.

Got my tea, all good

Needed some new tea so I grabbed some Sencha Green Tea and a Glass Teapot. It all arrived pretty fast, like 4 days to Portland. The tea tastes great, really fresh. The teapot is cute too, perfect size for me. No complaints, everything was smooth. Would definitely order from them again if I need more tea stuff.

Reliable for matcha needs

Another solid order from Chideno. I got the Ceremonial Grade Matcha Powder again, and it's just as good as always. Shipping took about 5 days to get to me in California, which is standard. I appreciate that the quality hasn't dropped over the years. My only minor wish is for more variety in their matcha bowl designs.

Nice stuff, good feel

Just got some Hojicha Tea and a Glass Teapot. Everything came pretty quick, packed well. The tea tastes really good, and the teapot looks cute on my counter. It was a nice, easy buy. No drama. I just wish they had more tea types, maybe some fruitier ones?

Good coffee, decent service

I ordered a bag of their Espresso Roast and a Manual Coffee Grinder. The website was easy to navigate, and checkout was smooth. Delivery took about 5 business days to Toronto, which was within the timeframe they stated. The grinder feels sturdy and works well for pour-over, though it's a bit slow for a full pot. The coffee beans were fresh, you could tell from the aroma. I had a quick question about brewing methods and used their online chat; the response was helpful but took a few minutes to connect. Overall, a solid experience and good products.

Great value on new gear

First time ordering from here, was looking for a good deal on a French Press and some beans. I found their Coffee Sampler Pack and a French Press that was reasonably priced. The free shipping to the US was a big plus, definitely made the purchase feel more worth it. Everything arrived well-packaged, and the coffee sampler let me try a few roasts. The French Press works as expected. I felt I got good value for my money, though it would be nice if they had more bundled deals on initial purchases.
